"A UNIQUE PHOTO ROADTRIP BETWEEN ENTHUSIASTS,

DISCOVERING THE MAGNIFICENT LANDSCAPES OF THE AMERICAN WEST,

TO ENRICH YOUR PORTFOLIO, LEARN, SHARE

AND LIVE AN UNFORGETTABLE HUMAN ADVENTURE"

From Wild to Vegas - Roadtrip Photo: what it is?

Embark on a unique photography adventure in the USA!

Photographers passionate about weddings and portraits, prepare for an unforgettable experience! In March 2026, embark on an exceptional road trip through the legendary landscapes of the American West, followed by participation in the WPPI, the largest event dedicated to wedding and portrait photographers in Las Vegas.

An extraordinary photo road trip to build a portfolio

Over several days, we will travel together to iconic sites such as the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Zion National Park, Monument Valley, and Nelson Ghost Town. Aboard a van adapted for a small group (maximum 10 people), we will experience an immersive adventure, alternating between exploration, photo shoots, and moments of sharing. To enhance our images, a wedding couple and/or models will accompany us, offering spectacular photoshoot opportunities in these magnificent settings.

Heading to Las Vegas for the WPPI

After our road trip, head to Las Vegas to attend the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photography International). For nearly a week, you’ll be able to attend inspiring talks, participate in photowalks, discover the latest market trends from exhibitors, and enjoy exclusive events like the Icon Awards. It’s the perfect opportunity to develop your skills, expand your network, and boost your creativity. A life-changing experience!

MY STORY, WHY ORGANIZE THIS TRIP?

2016: First WPPI that changed my career

In 2016, I had the chance to participate in a similar trip, and it literally transformed my career. I returned with renewed energy, a head full of ideas, and a completely different vision of my profession. I discovered a true community of photographers and realized that so much was possible.

In 2019, building on this first experience, I decided to return to the WPPI with a new goal in mind: to participate in the event’s prestigious competition. That year, I won my first three Silver Awards, a recognition that marked a turning point in my career. Since then, I haven’t missed a single edition. The WPPI is much more than a convention: it’s a place of inspiration, exchange, and incredible encounters. There, I forged precious friendships with photographers from all over the world—from Greece, the United States, Malaysia, and more. And in 2022, I had the honor of winning first place in the Couple on Wedding Day category.

It’s this unique experience, this energy, this passion that I want to share today. To offer other photographers the opportunity to experience this adventure, to connect with this community, and to elevate their art to another level.
That’s why I created: From Wild to Vegas – Photo Roadtrip

The climate in the American West in March is generally pleasant, but it can vary depending on the regions we visit:

Las Vegas & Nelson Ghost Town: Desert climate, temperatures around 15 to 25°C during the day, cooler in the mornings and evenings.
Grand Canyon & Monument Valley: Higher altitude, cooler temperatures (around 5 to 15°C during the day), possibility of cold nights or even light snowfall.
Horseshoe Bend & Zion National Park: Moderate temperatures, 10 to 20°C, sometimes windy.

Pack appropriate clothing: light clothing for the day, but also warm layers for the mornings and evenings. A windbreaker can be useful, especially at higher altitudes.

Rain doesn’t mean your shoots are compromised—quite the contrary! Some rainy environments can produce incredible images. Here’s how to adapt in case of rain:

✅ Plan B: Some locations offer alternative options that are sheltered or less exposed to the elements.
✅ Adapting schedules: You can adjust your shoots based on favorable weather windows.
✅ Unique atmospheres: Stormy skies or light rain can produce spectacular images, with magnificent lighting and reflections.
✅ Protected equipment: Bring rain protection for your camera; a freezer bag is a good protection tool.

In short, don’t stop at a few drops; turn the weather into a creative opportunity! 📸☔
